In 1957, a complex hydro-geological expedition conducted boring work on the territory of the Moynaki Mud Treatment Center at depths of up to 1000 meters, finding a source of water. The water, with a temperature of 39 Celsius, turned out to be mineral
water.
In the water's composition was chloride and sodium
with low alkalinity rating. This water was successfully used for the treatment of gastrointestinal diseases (chronic gastritis, peptic ulcer of the stomach and duodenum, chronic diseases of the liver, gall bladder, pancreas and others).
Thermal mineral water is used in showers, baths or underwater massage for treatment of cardio-vascular diseases, diseases of the nervous system, the residual effects of poliomyelitis and for diseases of posture and
bearing.
Mineral water sources are located and used at the Ukraine Defense Ministry Youth Clinic, the Central Health Resort Polyclinic and many other sanatoriums in Evpatoria.
The use of mineral water is just another of Evpatoria's curative factors. | |
